The recent update to the Comprehensive Parks plan called for improved trails and connectivity between the existing preserved opens spaces throughout the Township. The proposed Greenways Study would include an assessment of potential connections and the development of a greenways network.

The recently updated Comprehensive Parks Plan identified needed improvements to the existing court complex in Community Park and the development of two additional pickleball courts. To advance these improvements in a coordinated fashion, the Township must first create a master plan to identify a phased implementation strategy. The consultants with the help of staff will then develop construction documents to guide the installation of the public pickle ball courts.

Cranberry Township is seeking financial assistance to improve the existing court complex at Community Park. The proposed project scope includes needed improvements to the existing tennis courts, basketball court, and sand volleyball courts. In addition, the Comprehensive Parks Plan calls for the development of two public pickleball courts, parking improvements, accessible routes, and upgrades to the existing restrooms and lighting within this same area of Community Park. The Township is proposing to provide a 50% match.
