PA DUI Association Presentation Recording
On October 12, 2021, Dave Andrascik and Cathy Tress, of the PA DUI Association, presented the Cranberry Township Police Department with a plaque recognizing the department for it’s support and achievements. We will play a video recording of the presentation. The recognition comes as the department has been providing facilities and support where Drug Recognition Expert, Standardized Field Sobriety Test, Sobriety Checkpoint and other trainings have been conducted. Sargent Och has also provided instruction through the PA DUI Association as an instructor and Drug Recognition Expert.

(Following public comment and provided no additional testimony is needed, it is recommended that the public hearing be closed. Later in this meeting, the Board will consider action on this Application under Planning & Development Services.)

Application for Actuated Pedestrian Crossing Signal on North Boundary Road at Pinehurst Drive
Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2021-50, setting forth certain guarantees in relation to an Application for an Actuated Pedestrian Crossing Signal on North Boundary Road at Pinehurst Drive to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and to authorize signing of this Application.

Laurel Point Temporary Pump Station Agreement
The Laurel Point Development submitted plans for review for a Temporary Pump Station while the permanent pump station is constructed. The temporary pump station is to be in use for a limited number of residential connections of 24 units for a maximum timeframe of 24 months. The agreement has been reviewed by the Solicitor and staff is recommending approval of the agreement.
Motion to approve an agreement with Pikewood Land Partners, LLC. for the Laurel Point Development Temporary Pump Station with 24 units with a maximum timeframe of 24 months.

PennDOT MTF 2021 Grant Application
Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2021-51, authorizing and ratifying the submission of a 2021 PennDOT Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant application. The application includes intersection improvements at Franklin, Garvin, Callery Roads, a proposed pedestrian connection along Garvin Road, and a matching commitment of Township funds.
