Accept public comment on a Conditional Use application to revise the design of Phases 6, 7, and 8 of the Park Place CCD-2 Development by revising the types of residential units and reducing the number of residential units by 87 units on 195 acres located north of Rochester Road and east of Powell Road.

(This Public Hearing will be opened without presentation and continued to the August 29 Agenda Preparation Meeting)

Completion of Probationary Status - Police Officers Norton, Cipriani and Schott

Police Officers Jeremy Norton, James Cipriani and Christopher Schott have successfully completed their one-year probationary period. The Township Manager and Chief of Police recommend that these Officers be granted full-time, regular status.

Motion to grant full-time regular employee status to Police Officers Jeremy Norton, James Cipriani and Christopher Schott, effective June 25, 2019.

Police Services Agreement with Seneca Valley School District for the 2019-2020 School Year

The Board is requested this evening to approve the Police Services Agreement with the Seneca Valley School District for the 2019-2020 School Year. The Agreement continues the practice of the Township providing at least one Police Officer for certain school hours and special events at Seneca Valley Schools within the Township.

Motion to approve an Agreement between the Township and Seneca Valley School District to provide police services during the 2019-2020 School Year.

Update on the 2019 Voluntary Police Fitness Program

The Police Department launched an innovative voluntary program to encourage Officers to enhance their physical fitness in 2016 called Elite Police FIT (Fitness Incentive Training). Chief Meyer will update the Board this evening on this successful initiative.

Motion to approve Purchase Approval #00019384-00 - Two (2) 2019 Dodge Chargers (Police Pursuit Vehicles) - replacing Units 805 and 808 - to Tri Star Motors (COSTARS #013-147) in the amount of $52,640.00.

The Graham Park Master Plan provided for the expansion of the existing 8 Court Complex in the open area between the exisitng courts and Graham Park Drive. Final engineering needs to be completed, however, it is anticipated either 4 or 5 courts could be added in that location. CTPA has generated the revenue that would cover the construction costs. The plan would be to construct those courts this year with the surfacing and fencing to be completed in 2020. If the Board is agreeable to adding those improvements, the Board is being asked this evening to consider the following motion:

Motion to authorize the Township Manager to proceed with the construction of additional pickleball courts adjacent to the existing courts in Graham Park, utilizing existing contracts, with the construction costs being contributed by CTPA.
