Land Use Assumptions Report Update
The Township is updating its twenty (20) year long-range transportation plan (Transportation Impact Fees). The Impact Fee Advisory Committee has worked with staff and the Township’s engineering consultant to update the Land Use Assumptions (LUA) Report. This is the first required step in updating the Township’s Transportation Improvement Plan. The Board of Supervisors is being asked to consider the attached resolution to approve and adopt the LUA Report.
Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2024-59, approving the Land Use Assumption Report dated July 23, 2024, as recommended by the Cranberry Township Transportation Impact Fee Advisory Committee at its public meeting on July 29, 2024.

The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nation’s past, present, and future. The Commission encourages municipalities to pass the America 250PA resolution establishing the Township as an official partner of America250PA.
Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2024-60, supporting the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA).

Southwestern Butler County EMS Alliance Alternative Funding Analysis
EMS funding in the Commonwealth and across the country is in crisis. A cooperative group of eight (8) municipalities, two (2) EMS providers, and Butler County intend to take a proactive approach to study multi-municipal methods to address the EMS funding crisis. The Board is being asked to authorize participation in the study with commitment to the local match and engaging the consultant for the study.
Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2024-61 , authorizing entering into a multi-municipal study for Emergency Medical Services Alternative Funding Analysis committing to a local match with cost sharing with Butler County and hiring of ROBB Consulting to complete the study.

One Call Locating Services Agreement Amendment
In June 2023, the Board authorized an agreement with USIC Locating Services, LLC. for utility locating and marking services. With the continuation of the cable project, a contract extension is necessary.
Motion to authorize execution of an amendment to the current agreement with USIC Locating Services, LLC. for utility locating and marking services extending the contract for one (1) additional year.
