Recognition of PSATS Youth Award Winner - Girl Scout Troop 20546
This evening the Board will recognize the PSATS Youth Award Winner - Girl Scout Troop 20546. The Troop earned the award for restoring the entrance sign to the park trails in Community Park. The Troop worked to refurbish the sign and to build and install a freshly designed map of the trails.

Recognition and Appreciation to Peggy Kane of the Cranberry Volunteer Fire Company
Peggy Kane has displayed exemplary efforts in CTVFC Fire Safety Education Program. Ms. Kane has been part of educating over 40,000 kids and adults over her years at Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.

Bill No. 2023-02 - Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 27), Solar Energy Facility as Accessory Use
Accept public comment on an Ordinance amendment to Chapter 27 (Zoning) for revisions to Section 325 (Solar Energy Facility as Accessory Use).
(Following public testimony and provided no additional testimony is required, it is recommended to close the Public Hearing and the Board authorize advertisement of the intent to adopt the ordinance at the June 1, 2023 Regular meeting.)

Temporary Construction & Permanent Right of Way Agreement - Rt. 19 and Progress Avenue
The Township will construct improvements to the intersection of Progress Avenue and State Route 19, which includes widening Progress Avenue, constructing traffic signals at the intersection, and the installation of a turning lane. A Temporary Construction Easement of approximately 8,095 square feet and a Permanent Right of Way along State Route 19 and along Progress Avenue of approximately 2,208 square feet are required for the project and have been agreed upon by the property owner.
Motion to approve the Temporary Construction Easement and Permanent Right of Way Agreement with Progress Place Holdings, LP and execute the Agreement as part of the Rt. 19 & Progress Avenue improvement project which is subject to the review and approval of the Township Solicitor.

Intergovernmental Agreement with the PA State Police
Motion to approve the annual renewal of the Intergovernmental Agreement with the PA State Police for funding through the Automobile Theft/Motor Vehicle Insurance Fraud Program. The renewal is authorized through Ordinance 2017-469, which approved of this intergovernmental agreement.

Spring Municibid Auction Results
At the March 2, 2023 Regular meeting, the Board authorized the sale of miscellaneous tools and equipment via electronic sale using the online Municibid program. As required by the Township code, the results of the auction must be provided to the Board of Supervisors. The results of the auction which ended on April 12, 2023 are provided in the attached meeting materials.
