Butler County Infrastructure Bank (BCIB)

The Board will be asked this evening to approve a Resolution authorizing a requested distribution from the Butler County Infrastructure Bank (BCIB) to cover the construction costs associated with the award of contracts for the MSA Thruway and Water Tank Valve project by the December 10, 2019 BCIB deadline.

Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2019-___, authorizing the Township Manager to submit a request for distribution of BCIB funds in an amount not to exceed $6,714,039.12 for the MSA Thruway and Water Tank Valve Project.

Accept public comment on a Conditional Use Application which revises the Village of Cranberry Woods, a Community Character Development-2 and Large Land Development for Phase 1 to include an existing Hotel with proposed Automobile Fueling Station, Retail with drive-thru, Office, and Daycare uses, on 57.11 acres in the CCD-2 zoning district.

Pennsylvania Turnpike Utility Crossing License Agreement

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission requires the registration of all crossings either underground or overhead. Contract No. 20-01 - Interceptor No. 7 Rehabilitation - will cross under the Turnpike with a new 24-inch sewer line replacing the 15-inch sewer line that was installed in the 1960s. The License Agreement is for the new Pennsylvania Turnpike crossing to install the new 24-inch sewer line and rescinds the license for the 15-inch sewer line.

Motion to accept and sign the Pennsylvania Turnpike Utility Crossing License Agreement for the Interceptor No. 7 Rehabilitation Project.

"Cranberry Cares" Program

The Employees of Cranberry Township have expressed a desire to build upon the already positive relationships within the community by offering to our own employees opportunities to volunteer to undertake projects within the community that enhance and improve the quality of life for our residents. This Employee-Driven Program, entitled "Cranberry Cares", will promote Community Engagement.

At the December 12th Regular Meeting, the Board will be asked to authorize the Township Manager to implement the "Cranberry Cares" program for Township Employees.
